War Correspondents

Click here to access the Newseum's online exhibit on war correspondents. Once on the website, select a war on the left-hand side and then select a story. Make sure you have volume control. Listen to at least two stories from at least four different wars. After listening, post a comment on the blog that explains your reaction to the stories of war correspondents, including at least three specific details to support your response. Be sure to sign your post with your first name and the initial of your last name. After you have posted, view the comments of other students.

National Geographic Women Photographers

Click here to access the Newseum's online exhibit of women photographers from National Geographic. Once on the website, select photo gallery and then one of the five images at the bottom of the web page to access a portfolio of photographs. Make sure you have volume control as well so you can listen to the photographers discuss their work. After viewing that photographer's work, select menu at the top of the page and then select another photographer. Repeat that process until you have viewed the work of all 5 photographers. Then, post a comment on the blog that explains which portfolio you liked best and why, including at least three specific details to support your view. Be sure to sign your post with your first name and the initial of your last name. After you have posted, view the comments of other students.
