I liked the photo of sixth-grade children from the Colegio Motolinía de Antequera line up in front of a Montezuma cypress known as el Árbol del Tule because of its leading lines (the diagonal lines of the tree branches, and the vertical lines of the children)and because of the repetition of patterns(the children standing up dressed in the same colors against the tree).
ReplyDeleteI liked the photo of the children lined up in front of the Montezuma cypress.
ReplyDelete1. The repetition of the children in their blue outfits was very appealing to the eye. The little breaks in the pattern of the children moving or standing out of place fit most children's personalities.
2. The vertical leading lines of the tree bark gave the picture a sense of power and importance.

My favorite photo out of the list is the 'FireFall' but SANGEETA DEY. I believe its the most fascinating picture to look at. The angle and view point that its so captivating to look at. The Firefall shows the snowy cold top of the cliff and the hot orange fiery fall of the FireFall. It shows extreme detail and draws attention to the beautiful fall in the middle of the picture.

ReplyDeleteI like the McDonald Creek the best, because of the scenery. It shows background and foreground of the mountain and trees with the stream of water. Leading lines because of the trees, and also rule of thirds because the person jumping is not in the center, as well as how you have to look around for details about the picture.
The photo I liked the most was the one of the girl under water. It almost shows rule of thirds because the girl swimming would be at the bottom corner, this is appealing to the eye because its not off centered weirdly and it just fits. The angle that this picture is taken at is fascinating because it's not being taken straight on, it's being taken at more of a below angle.

ReplyDeleteI personally love the picture showing the tree and the children around it. It instantly grabbed my attention because of the evident size difference between the tree and the small children. The gigantic tree branches and its patterns on it provide a sense of a vertical leading line. The children, who are all wearing their blue uniform and are evenly standing, show repetition.
My favorite photo was the one by COREY ARNOLD where someone
ReplyDeletedove into McDonald Creek at Glacier National Park in Montana, because it used background and foreground, and pattern because of the rocks and trees. It also used leading lines and a lot of color and the subject of the photo isn't the main focus of the picture, so you can also see the river and also the mountains in the background.

My favorite photo on the site was Ye Ye the panda because it's a picture that just warms your heart. Pandas are universally adored all over the world, so this picture speaks to the softer side in all of us. It has attention to foreground and background, with Ye Ye as our attention-grabbing foreground and a detailed, interesting forest as the background. The background partly shows repetition of patterns, as most of it keeps the same colors and textures.

ReplyDeletethe photo i liked best was the one of the young man diving into McDonald creek. it shows rules of third because the young man is in the far right of the picture. it also has attention to foreground and background because you can see the mountains in the background and the rock cliffs in the foreground. repeating patterns because of the trees.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite was the "firefall". It captures the fascinating light that trickles alongside the mountain. The photo has leading lines where the light aligns with the mountain and the trees also include vertical lines to enhance the height of the mountain. The photo also captures filling the frame and focusing on the stream of light that emerges from the cliff. The trees also include repetition of patterns.
